About Mr. Nielsen...
Mr. Nielsen teaches 4th and 5th grade math at Louisville Elementary. The 2018-19 school year starts his 16th year of teaching (all at Louisville), and he is looking forward to getting to know all of his students. Before this teaching 4th and 5th grade math, he taught 3rd grade for 13 years. He graduated high school not far from Louisville; just down the road at Elmwood-Murdock. Mr. Nielsen also received his Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. He finished his Master's degree in July 2006 with a degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from Peru State College.
Mr. Nielsen lives with his wife, Allison, and two boys, Bennett and Kellen, on their family farm outside of Elmwood.
